IV RENMAD HIDROGENO AWARDS 2026

We are pleased to announce the the 4th Edition of the RENMAD HIDROGENO 2026 Awards. These popular awards are an initiative dedicated to recognising and celebrating the exceptional achievements of leading players in the renewable hydrogen sector.

This recognition extends to companies, authorities and individuals whose work has significantly driven the sector’s progress, promoting a just transition and generating a positive impact at regional and national levels.

It is very important that you review the entry guidelines so that you understand how these awards work and obtain detailed information on how to get involved in this exciting opportunity for recognition.

We encourage you to support your organisation or any other organisation you believe deserves an award in the categories you deem appropriate; however, as specified in the entry guidelines, each company or organisation may only receive one award.

Here are the different categories included in the fourth edition:

Hydrogen is on an unstoppable trajectory, but it still faces significant challenges in project implementation. This award aims to celebrate the contribution of pioneering projects that are paving the way and bringing certainty to the sector.

This award is aimed at projects that are already operational or at an advanced stage of development, which are innovative, adhere to the principles of a just transition, and have a positive impact on local society and the economy.

The aim of this award is to celebrate the developer of the year for renewable H2 projects.

This award is aimed at developers of projects that are already operational or at an advanced stage of development. Innovation, adherence to the principles of a just transition, and collaboration with other companies and institutions driving the growth of the national business ecosystem within the H2 sector will be assessed.

Electrolysers are an essential part of the renewable H2 value chain and a key factor in the sector’s competitiveness.

The aim of this award is to recognise the work of electrolyser manufacturers who design innovative equipment that is technically and financially competitive, and whose production is scaling up rapidly to contribute to the sector’s rapid growth.

Innovation – whether technical, financial or business model-related – is key to ensuring the sector’s continued competitiveness.

The aim of this award is to recognise the most significant innovation of the year, whether in technical, financial or business model advancements.

This award celebrates the personality of the year who is driving the renewable H2 sector, whether through technical expertise, outreach or financial leadership. Candidates will be assessed on their role in gender integration to promote equal opportunities in the renewable hydrogen sector.

There is a significant imbalance in the representation of women within the energy sector. That is why it is so important to identify and recognise the contribution women make to the sector, and to highlight female leaders as role models within the industry.
