After the resounding success of the first edition of RENMAD H2 LOGISTICS EUROPE 2023, which brought together over 150 industry leaders and 40 expert speakers, the second edition is coming on October 16th and 17th, 2024 in Zaragoza. The integrated logistics of renewable H2 ensures the connection between production and demand points and represents a significant cost in the final product price, making it a key challenge to overcome, as well as a business opportunity and partnership creation.
Some of the most significant challenges H2 logistics present include, limited infrastructure of refueling stations, pipelines, and terminals to facilitate H2´s movement on a large scale, the high costs associated with H2storage and transportation, which can currently represent more than 50% of the total cost, and the lack of clear regulations and standardization at an international level for the development of H2logistics.
In this edition, we will conduct an on-site visit to the first publicly accessible hydrogen station nationwide at El Cisne 1 service station, located in the Ebro Hydrogen Corridor. We will embarq the journey on a hydrogen bus provided by ALSA.
