The First Edition of the RENMAD DATACENTERS Awards 2027 was created with the aim of recognizing and highlighting the companies, projects and professionals that are contributing to the development of the data center ecosystem in Spain.

These awards distinguish those initiatives that stand out for their innovation, sustainability, efficiency, economic impact and ability to promote the growth of an increasingly strategic digital infrastructure for the country.

We invite you to consult the rules of participation, where you will find all the information about the categories, the voting process and the evaluation criteria.

Actively participate in the RENMAD DATACENTERS Awards 2027 by nominating and voting for your favorite nominations in each category through the form on the right. Your participation will contribute to recognising the work of those who are leading the evolution of the data centre sector in Spain.

DATA CENTER OF THE YEAR AWARD

This award recognizes the data center that has stood out for its excellence in design, construction or operation, as well as for its contribution to the development of digital infrastructure in Spain.

Aspects such as technological innovation, energy efficiency, sustainability, operational resilience, scalability and the positive impact generated both in the business environment and in the territory where it is located will be particularly valued.

PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR AWARD

This award recognizes the person who, through their leadership, strategic vision or technical contribution, is playing a key role in the growth and consolidation of the data center sector in Spain.

Professionals from operators, developers, technology companies, consultancies, public administrations, associations or any other organisation whose work has contributed significantly to the development of a more innovative, sustainable and competitive data centre ecosystem may be recognised.

  1. CategoriesTwo categories are established for the First Edition of the RENMAD DATACENTERS Awards 2027.The awards will recognise the work, projects and contributions made by the candidates during the year 2026.
  2. Submission of nominations
    1. Candidates may submit their own candidacy or propose that of other people, companies or organisations that they consider worthy of recognition in any of the categories.
    2. To formalise the candidacy, it will be necessary to provide the following information:
      1. Data center of the year award
        1. Data center or project name
        2. Responsible company
        3. Contact person (name, title, and email)
      2. Personality of the Year award
        1. Name and surname
        2. Position
        3. Company or organization
        4. Email
    3. In both cases, a brief description (maximum 100 words) must be attached explaining the reasons why the candidacy deserves to be recognized and its contribution to the development of the data center sector.
  3. CandidatesThe RENMAD DATACENTERS 2027 Awards are open to individuals, companies and organizations that have stood out for their contribution to the development of the data center sector in Spain.The actions, projects or initiatives presented must be in Spanish national territory during the year 2026.
  4. VotingThe candidacies admitted will be submitted to a public vote.Each person may cast a single vote per category.The organization reserves the right to verify the validity of the votes and eliminate those that show indications of duplicity, fraud or any other irregularity that may affect the proper development of the vote.
  5. Selection of winners
    1. The winners will be those candidates who obtain the highest number of valid votes in each category.
    2. The same company or organization may not receive more than one prize. In the event of winning in several categories, it will only be awarded the recognition corresponding to the category in which it has obtained the greatest support, with the rest of the prizes being assigned to the next candidates with the highest number of votes.
    3. In the event that the winner renounces the prize or is unable to accept it, the organization may award the recognition to the next candidate with the highest number of valid votes.
    4. The final decision on the awarding of the prizes will correspond to the organization, which will resolve any incident not foreseen in these rules.
